What's Todd been up to since the election?
Law Practice
Since October 2009, Todd has been practicing law with Shackelford Melton & McKinley in Dallas. Todd counsels clients in the technology, manufacturing, financial services, commodities and service industries. He provides litigation services as needed; selecting jurors, interviewing
witnesses and other necessary functions of trial work. On behalf of clients, Todd negotiates business transactions of all sizes, including a recent hundred
million dollar acquisition.
Todd divides his time between new and established clients, counseling with banking, auto
dealership and other business executives, as well as advising various start-up businesses and entrepreneurs.
Todd is also very involved in the
business development side of the law firm. He is active in networking and calling on clients, preparing and giving presentations to
prospective clients and bringing new clients to the firm. He also enjoys sharing his extensive business and sales experience with other attorneys, helping them to improve their
business development skills.
Town of Addison
In addition to his law practice, Todd continues to be very active with the
Town of Addison. He has attended Council meetings and
work sessions, the Preliminary Budget Session held in
March, Town Hall Meetings, Planning & Zoning Meetings and Charter Review Commission Meetings.
Ongoing Community Service
Todd is active with Addison
Arbor Foundation, Addison Business Association and as a volunteer for the Addison
Advocates Program.
Todd's passion for service continues with Metrocrest Social Services. In this challenging
economic environment, the need has grown, as the
resources have diminished. It has been said, "There is a tsunami
of need, and a dearth of support."
At Metrocrest, Todd serves on the
Board, Finance Committee, Executive Committee and the
Relocation Committee. In the photo at right, Todd serves with a group at the Metrocrest Food Pantry.
